Moon Moon Coffeeshop

Staying in IPOH for the past few decades, I didn't know there was such a nice coffeeshop behind the Pasir Puteh main road, just along the Pasir Puteh market. It is called Moon Moon Coffeeshop, I was amazed by so many stalls and hearing positive comments from others that the food there was good, 3 of us went there for our breakfast.

Again, I forgot to take pictures of the stalls, that shows how amateur a food blogger I am!

All I think of was the food displayed and we ended up ordering wanton mee (the wanton looked delicious to me) and my friend ordered this macaroni with yam and other stuff such as shown here..

a mixture of everything
looks good.. i love the yam
only RM4 per bowl
i must try this next week!!

i ordered this, so did Elin...

look at the wanton... they have few choices
i love the soup too..
msg? eh... dont care la..
Wallop first!

Jelapang Road Side Stall

Lunch time is here... in Jelapang new village, a 15 minutes drive from our office. Once awhile, we love to come here to take our lunch, something light and not too heavy... This stall serves the best rojak in IPOH town, as far as I know. Beside that, they have very tasty fried noodles, (vegetarian style) but u can add an egg if u want, then they have tong sui, sometimes red bean or bubur cha cha... ice kacang, wan tou long (yellow jelly), coconut water.... etc.....
And lately there is a new hawker selling pancakes (tai kau meen) at the side and it is one of my favorite snack of all times... I love coming here... I think I will go again next week... hmmm....

this stall is just near the main road

What a night! The Internet connection is really getting on my nerves! Something must be wrong with my server, either that or my computer? What is happening? I have lots of work to do, most of them have target dates and now this.... I think I have to stay up tonight...sigh...

My son has been advising me to get a higher speed but I kept putting it off. I have not decide yet and now my work is jeopardized. I am not a hardcore gamer, but my son definitely is! He is always complaining that the speed is interrupting with his games and ends up always being defeated by his friends. But I am an addict for movies online but nowadays I give up because with this slow speed at present, it is wasting a lot of my precious time. And now the last straw, I cannot even download my food photos for this blog without grumbling, it is really getting on my nerves...

How wonderful if I can subscribe to Charter's Ultra 60Mbps service, I heard it is one the fastest Internet speed in U.S. From what I read here, Charter’s Ultra60 Mbps service is part of the company’s strategy to provide customers with the fastest Internet speed available at a time when it is critical to have a high-speed connection to multimedia sites. With this charter ultra fast 60 I will be able to get more photo posts listed up in my blog without wasting much of my time. This kind of speed can allow me to multitask in ways I have not done before, this new phatband technology will certainly bring a lot of difference to me!

Pattaya Rice

It was raining on Sunday evening so we just went to Ipoh Garden Gourmet Square for our dinner. Actually I don't fancy going there much, sort of fed up already....LOL.. even before reaching the place, I know how the food taste like already.

Actually I ended taking pandan curry rice but I didn't manage to snap the picture. WHY? Cos it was too darn expensive, the plate of pandan rice, one piece of curry chicken and some petai cost me RM7.00!! But nasib baik, the taste was good..nice... otherwise for a plate of rice to cost that price, it was not really worth it....

Andy took this pattaya rice cooked by a thai ... it was only RM4.50....

this plate of lala was so so ..
nothing to shout about again..
the flesh were small in size...
rm10 is too expensive!

Japanese Lunch Meal

My Japanese lunch with Elin and Robin a couple of weeks ago, in IVU Greentown.. (hope the name is correct), actually I do not fancy japanese food too much but a beggar cannot be choosy, right? Yes, I didn't pay for the bill, Robin did, so anyway, we enjoyed our meal...

Ok, about this set lunch, I find it quite reasonable, it was only RM12.90 and came with soup, the main course and ice cream as dessert...

ambience was not too bad either..

my set..

grilled fish set

i like to eat this... but a bit oily...
